Pamporovo is located on approx. 1650 m above sea
level in the Perelik range of the Western Rhodopi in one
of the most beautiful places of the Orpheus mountain.
The specific combination of natural conditions makes
the resort beautiful in summer and in winter alike -
the large spruce forests, picturesque meadows,
strange rocky forms (the Orpheus rock and others),
beautiful high peaks - Snejanka (1925), Murgavetz
(1858), etc. With its outstanding beauty, and facilities
to match, Pamporovo is proud of more than 270 sunny
days in the year.
The ski tracks of Pamporovo have all degrees of
difficulty. Most of the tracks start from the very peak.
There are three cross-country runs in Pamporovo.
In the 9 ski-wardrobes near the tracks, you can find
over 2000 ski outfits and equipment, snow-boards
and sleighs. The mountain rescue service works 24
hours a day, taking care of the security of the skiers.
The ski-kindergarden is open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
Pamporovo is the starting point for many marked tourist tracks.
While resting in Pamporovo
guests can make ethno-
trips to many interesting
Phodop villages to discover
